Finally, There's an Easier Way to Rehabilitate.

For most of us, meditation and mental rehabilitation can be a difficult practice to endure due to the time requirements and discipline required to naturally train the mind into lasting patterns of growth and spiritual development.

Tibetan monks can experience these profound states because of their lifetime of training within a calm environment and the lack of external stimuli such as work, family, television programming, music, entertainment, and other responsibilities. In our modern cultures and fast paced lifestyles, this is simply not an option that many of us can successfully explore without resistance.

Scientists have been linking many health benefits to meditative practices. On the average, meditators are shown to have sharper minds, less stress, better problem solving capabilities, more restorative sleep patterns, less sickness and disease, clearer focus, and numerous other benefits such as increased dopamine and human growth hormone levels.

Dopamine is the body's natural "feel good" chemical produced within the brain during moments of increased levity. Human growth hormone (HGH) is a natural healing and restorative agent used by the body to resist sickness, heal damaged tissue, and adapt to other stresses imposed upon the body such as weightlifting or martial arts.

This means not only are meditators happier on a consistent basis, but they heal faster as well. This is why fully integrative healing centers such as Cancer Treatment Centers of America include mind-body medicine as an integral part of their healing regimen.

Finally, science, spirituality, and holistic medicine are beginning to merge with great promise.

Meditation is Only Part of the Rehabilitation Process

The practices of meditation have been mentioned for thousands of years across multiple cultures. Through our own evolutions within society we have constantly sought ways to do things faster, easier, and with less expense both within our wallets and our daily planners.

Sadly, many have falsely diluted the process of meditation to nothing more than simple relaxation. Although this is also important, TRUE Zen meditation and it's link to rehabilitation requires more than simply "closing your eyes" for a few minutes per day.

Other support systems are required to properly and adequately combine this process into an effectively immersive program. Simply "sitting and meditating" is not enough unless you also address other issues which may act to contradict the practices.

Thoughts, attitude, breathing, and overall wellbeing must also be addressed otherwise the practice of meditation will be totally ineffective at doing little more than achieving a few minutes of rest.

The same results could be achieved by taking a nap. How "Zen" is that?

How Can Psychoacoustics Create Lasting Change?

In 1973 Dr. Gerald Oster, a research scientist at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in New York, discovered a phenomenal technology. He published his findings in the October 1973 issue of "Scientific American" along with the mind-blowing results he had found within listeners of this psychoacoustic technology. The results he published through his research are:

  • Profoundly deep states of meditation, hypnogogia
  • Dramatic increases in the production of a whole variety of beneficial brain chemicals
  • Reduced aging and enhanced wellbeing
  • The release and falling away of dysfunctional mental and emotional patterns
  • Increased learning ability, enhanced creativity, intuition, focus and concentration
  • Increased personal awareness and "hemispheric synchronization"
  • Dramatically lower stress levels, an increased ability to deal with whatever comes at you
  • Increased "connection" with others and enhanced synchronicity
  • Achievement becomes easier, and without feelings of anxiety and stress
  • The need for sleep decreases, yet aliveness, vitality and energy increase!

Millions of people have been exposed to this technology which involves brainwave entrainment since this study was done 35 years ago and there exists thousands of pages of documented research on the topic.

The study of brainwaves began in the early 1920's when the earliest of equipment detected the "Alpha" state. Since then, much research has been done on the electrical activity of the mind.

Dr. Oster's studies popularized a technology now commonly called "binaural beats". Robert Monroe at the Monroe Institute has also performed numerous experiments using a modified version of this technology. Bill Harris at Centerpointe Research has designed programs using this technology as well.

There are MILLIONS of pepole who have successfully participated in the cultural phenomena surrounding this technology of brainwave modification, which also occurs naturally within our environment.

In addition to binaural beats, Isochronic tones and monaural frequencies have also been tested and are found to be more effective due to a deeper and more distinct sine wave pattern.

Research has shown the certain "window" brainwave frequencies are prime for the application of other therapeutic devices such as autosuggestion, hypnosis, guided meditation, and subliminals.

Also, certain technologies cause hemispheric synchronization and forces the brain to form new neural pathways which evolve and strengthen the Corpus Callosum.

The Corpus Callosum is the part of the brain which connects the left and right hemispheres.

By strengthening the Corpus Callosum, inducing hypnotic states followed with positive autosuggestive programming, and forcing the brain to produce certain chemicals and hormones it is possible to enhance human functioning at a cellular level.

This results in increased IQ, heightened intuition and precognitive abilities, enhanced creativity, and a laundry list of other mental evolutions which translate themselves "from within to without".

This means, the change starts from within and with practice manifests itself into other regions of your life. Providence is literally placed directly at your fingertips.
